Sometimes I'll go through a six and forget to review one or something I think they aren't good enough. Hell sometimes I'm drinking liqour instead of beer.

What I'm trying to say is, I am not going to review a beer on this blog that I believe deserves less than a 6.5-7. Which is why you never see me bashing anything.

More beer up in a few.Thomas M. This is Stone Ruination and I picked up a bottle A) Because it was on sale and B) because I've had it before and I know it's good.

Anyway I give it a full half tilt pour and it smells like freshly picked weed, the head is almost non existant. It has a nice golden amber hue to it.

First sip and I already know what I'm expecting, it still kicks my ass every time though. This is a super flavorful beer and is hoppy like a motherfucker with a nice almost citrus/malt combo background thing going on. What I like most about this beer is it's easy to put down even though it's so intense and Grassy, they have a pretty cool mascot to boot.

Great beer, I love IPAs
Good Price, full pint bottle runs like 6 bucks?
Easy to drink, I take mine cold.

Beer gets a 9.1 out of 10Thomas M. All I know is that theres a pegasus flying behind a castle on the bottle so I bought it.

Beers a 9% and i'm drinking it real cold, 10 degrees celcius to be precise.

I pop the bottle open and smell fermentation, thats a good sign... a great sign actually. At a moderate pour I get almost no head! astounding. I let it sit there for about 30 seconds as I smell it and just kind of look at it for a moment. Imagine doing that with anything else? I would look like a psychopath.

When I finally start drinking it i'm like "wait I didn't expect this". You see for such a fruity smelling 9% beer this is actually very malty tasting and pretty spicy too, not fruity at all. The aftertaste was reminescent of something more matured like a liour... almost malted.

This bottle got me a good buzz going, then again I drank it in 10 minutes, althought I would suggest it to be more of a sipper.

Beer gets a: 8.5/10Thomas M. Rogue Dead Guy Ale definitely isn't cheap ($10.99 a six) but damn is it worth it, I assume you guys have tried it before and if you haven't you very much should.

Real straight up, the smell, taste, color and thickness are all that of a drinkable, six-packable ale. What sets Dead Guy apart is the obvious quality of it. I mean drinkability is one thing, but when you can make it a respectable, drinkable and popular beer without watering it down too much you've got something there.

If I could use three adjectives to describe this beer they would be something like: Rustic, Fresh, Thick.

The combination of thickness and refreshing taste in this beer is great, I love it. Great beer, great taste, cool label, shitty price. Try it anyway.

9.4 / 10Thomas M.
